At Ideal Boilers, we are committed to delivering the highest level of customer service. With more than 100 years’ experience in the heating industry, we know how important confidence and trust are to our customers. The customer charter below is our delivery promise to you.

Delivering the highest level of customer support is our promise to you which is why our UK based contact centre is open 364 days a year. Your call will be answered directly by one of our highly trained members of staff, who will take ownership of the call. If your query cannot be resolved over the phone, we aim to get an engineer to your property the same or next day. We collect independent feedback on the service we provide as part of a continued improvement of the customer journey we provide.

    Our Engineers

    If your boiler requires an engineer visit, we endeavour to get an engineer to your home the same day of your call, or the following day. On the evening prior to your visit we will text you a reminder as well as text you on the day of our visit to let you know your engineer is on their way.

    All Ideal Boilers' engineers are trained to the highest standards and carry a vast range of parts to ensure we can resolve the issue on the day of the visit where possible. Our target is to ensure over 97% of visits are completed on the day.

    Our engineers will clearly explain any actions taken during the visit and provide any advice needed to ensure your system continues to operate optimally. If a follow up visit is required a member of our team will arrange this for you, keeping you fully informed throughout the process. We will also email you a full report of your engineer’s visit should you wish.

How do I identify the make of my programmer?
A:

Most programmers will either have their make or model on the front or on a drop down panel.

What warranty does my programmer have?
A:

If installed at the same time as the boiler, our programmers currently mirror the warranty of the appliance they are fitted to. If it is not fitted at the same time as the boiler then the standard warranty period of the programmer will be 12 months.

Does my manufactures warranty cover all controls?
A:

Any of our own control units such as the PRT3 or the Touch programmer will mirror the boilers warranty if they are purchased and installed at the same time. Unfortunately, any other manufacturers control units would not be covered by us.

How do I set my timer up?
A:

User guides for our current programmers can be found under the literature section of our website in PDF format. They explain how to set times, temperatures and alternative functions.
