We are honoured to announce that along with our fellow Groupe Atlantic UK & ROI Division brands, we have partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support as our official charity as of 1st March 2018.
Over the course of the year we will be launching a number of initiatives to support Macmillan. This includes a contribution from the sales of all Groupe Atlantic products, including domestic and commercial boilers, cylinders and electric heating panels being made to Macmillan.
Shaun Edwards, CEO of Group Atlantic UK & ROI Division says:
‘Cancer is something that will affect all of us, either directly or indirectly. We are extremely humbled and privileged to partner with Macmillan Cancer Support and be part of something that can make such a difference to people following a cancer diagnosis. Raising money for charity is something everyone at in our Division loves to do. From cake sales to sporting events, and with a staff of over 1000, there is something for everyone to take part in’.
There are 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK today, and as more people live longer with their cancer, this number is set to grow to 4 million by 2030. Macmillan strive to make sure they can provide support to everyone who needs it and to help people affected by cancer feel more in control of their lives. Macmillan can help with advice about work and money as well as simply providing someone to talk to, helping people from the moment of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond.
