Our Installers are at the heart of everything we do and play a huge role in the boiler design process, because they’re the ones working with them every day.

That means, we ask you for your suggestions on how we can improve the products, and work with you to make the boilers easier to fit and service.

Your opinions are a really important part of our product development and we understand that, reliability is priority number one.

When you recommend a product, we know you’re putting your reputation on the line. If the boiler breaks down after six months your customer won’t be happy, and may not trust our boiler brand or you in the future.

At Ideal, we rigorously test all of our boilers to ensure only the most reliable products leave the factory.

Throughout the design and manufacturing process we’re checking quality, process capability, assembly, and that every boiler functions safely and is working correctly.

The production process is designed on a ‘no fault forward’ basis. This means we have clear guidance at every stage of the process, so that every product is repeatedly built to its stringent manufacturing procedures.

During the assembly, checks are in place to ensure components are sited correctly through the use of jigs. Cameras ensure the correct parts are installed and pressure checks are carried out make sure there aren’t any gaps between components, which would lead to leaks.

Then there’s a final function test on safety and integrity, to make sure the boiler’s modulating correctly, and the case is sealed properly before it’s allowed to leave the factory.

      You don’t have to come on a training course but we’d love to invite you to one of our training centers for a free Logic+ training day!

    We moved in a new builded house on 26 April 2013. why does the boiler said it is Logic+ Heat 24. The builder said it is 2 years warranty? Is it the 7 years warranty as the website says?

    I had a gas engineer round today quoting on an ideal logic + 30 boiler.if I go ahead & If I get servicing done by another company then how does the warranty /guarantee work – do I approach the installing engineer, the servicing engineer or make the contact direct to ideal boilers ltd?

      Hi there, you should have your boiler installed by a Gas Safe Registered installer.
      The warranty will be valid for the 7 years providing your installer registered the warranty and then you have the boiler serviced annually by a Gas Safe Registered installer.

    My boiler(Logic+System)was installed on August 2011 by my local retailer, they didn’t left any warranty card to me after the installation, how can I find out when my boiler warranty expired?
    Last year, they came to service my boiler and charged me around 1000 pounds for servicing and part replacement cost, I wonder who are responsible for the boiler maintaining cost under your warranty scheme?

    I am about to purchase a Boiler with Long warrantee. I am considering between your Logic Boiler and a rival with 5 years warrantee.

    I note your offer for 7 years ended on 31/12/2014 however you are still showing details of the 7 year warrantee on your website.

    Will I be able to get this warrantee if I buy this boiler and get it installed in January?

    Hi we had a ideal logic plus boiler installed on 18/2/14 and the plumber said he was sending the paperwork for the warranty. As this is a rented property (I am the landlord) we were told this had to be done this way. I have been sorting out my paperwork and have realised we have nothing related to this boiler and he warranty.     I love the logic range easy to fit easy to service.the problem is the plumb centres when a member of the public can walk in and bye a logic at the same price as a installer who has a account it’s time to fit other boilers from other merchants.

    HI, I am getting an Ideal Logic + 30W boiler fitted, but the installer is saying that it includes a 7 year guarantee, with the box the boiler came in , it said a 5 year guarantee parts and labour, I said I wanted a 7 years guarantee, so they charged me another 100.00 fee for this, can i check is this correct, they said that all the ideal logic 30 + come with the standard 7 years, please confirm this back to me if you can, regards Darren

    Is my Boiler under Warranty by the Manufacturer. It was fitted 4 and a half years ago 5 years this August by Warm Front under the grant scheme. It is a total nightmare and made my life a misery since being installed. It makes the biggest racket in my bedroom like a drill (I understand the pump) is the problem but it has poured water through my ceilings on 5 occasions I cannot sleep upstairs, or sleep properly on the settee, carnt go on a break or stay with relatives for fear of my home being wrecked, I am disabled, have no money as I am on state benefit through illness, as I am on benefits and am left to rot please can someone help me.

    I am in the process of instructing a gas safe installer of replacing my Potterton Profile with a combi boiler. I would like to know what is the difference in components, performance and materials between the Ideal Logic 35 and the Logic 35 Plus, as there is a significant difference in price. No one I have spoken to seems to know. If the difference is just the warranty period, then I will go for the Logic 35. If, the Logic 35 Plus is an upgraded version of the former i.e.. better built, more reliable, better performance, superior components etc. then I would gladly pay the extra and have the 35 plus installed.

      The Logic+ is a an upgraded version of the Logic and this is reflected in the warranty length (Logic has a 2 year parts & labour warranty, while the Logic+ comes with a 7 year parts & labour warranty).

    I have ideal logic + I had it fitted December 2013 I have had it serviced and i,am having problems with it. Every two weeks I have to top it up because it keeps it keeps saying low pressure and to bleed radiators there is no leak and the gas fitter said I should contact ideal because he thinks there is a fault on the boiler.       Your installer who serviced the boiler should have reset the ‘service reminder’ when they attended the service.
      We recommend you give them a call and ask them to check this for you.

    We have a 7 year guarantee in our ideal boiler that was installed 3 years ago. We are selling our house, will the guarantee be valid for the new owners of our property and therefore boiler? Do we need to transfer it to their names?

    I’m about to have the ideal logic 30+ installed tomorrow and the engineer said it comes with a 7 year warranty but I just read your email to Mathew on 27th October and is says that the 7 year warranty promotion is only available up to 31st Dec 2014, is this true or will I still get the 7 year warranty.

      Our Logic+ boiler comes with a 7 year warranty until the end of December 2015.
      It was original 2014 but was extended :)

    hi, I had a new Ideal Logic boiler installed in July 2015, I have just noticed the sticker on the front asking me to active the guarantee within 30 days, which I haven’t done. Is my boiler guaranteed or not? Do I have to do this or should the installer have completed this?

      It is definitely worth checking with your installer before you call the number on the sticker on the front of the boiler.
      Your installer can register the warranty at the same time as notifying Gas Safe so it is likely they have already done this. Just let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Moved into a new build end of June 2015. I registered the boiler by telephone within the 30days period.. No paperwork I had it confirmed by a further telephone call that it was registered, but I have not been sent any paperwork to date

    Just bought a new ideal Independant+ boiler as a recommendation from the installer as it offered a 7 year warranty. As i’ve seen in other posts, the paperwork is only for 5 years?   • I had my Logic Combi ES 30 installed in March 2014 by a reputable installer. I understand from idealboilers.com that the 7 year warranty is available on all models in the Logic+ boiler range to all installers until 31st December 2014. I was never offered this warranty. I followed the sticker on the boiler which said “Please activate your guarantee within 30 days”. My cover is for 2 year Ideal Boilers boiler guarantee.

    What is the difference between guarantee and warranty and am I still covered under the warranty even though I was never offered this warranty?

      It will depend what boiler you have installed. The Logic boiler has a 2 year warranty but the Logic+ has a 7 year warranty.

    Hi. I got my boiler Ideal logic 24 installed by the government free of charge in November 2010. They offered me a 2 year free parts and labour which has now ran out. My boiler keeps having a problem with the ignition. Its had 3 new ones already and now its broken again. I have no hot water, no heating and no money to call someone out? I’m just recovering from an operation. Please help?
